Victoria's Most Trusted Senior Group Tour Operator Since 1993

Pat and Robyn O'Shannessy started in tourism over 30 years ago, owning and operating motels across Victoria. Their daughters grew up welcoming tour groups, helping in the restaurant, and watching their parents build something special.

Pat turned that love of hospitality into a focused senior group travel operation — building personalised coach and bus tours across Victoria specifically for Probus Clubs, senior social groups and retirement villages. The same warmth from those motel years became the foundation of Designer Tours.

More than 30 years on, it's still a family business. Pat and Robyn are still involved, Nicole manages day-to-day operations, and every senior coach tour — whether it's a multi-day escorted group tour in Victoria or a day trip from Melbourne — carries the personal attention that has kept clubs coming back year after year.

Not at all — singles and couples are very welcome alongside group bookings. Contact our team and we'll match you with the right tour.

Where do you pick us up from?

We arrange pick-up and drop-off at your club, retirement village, or agreed meeting point across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Are the tours truly all-inclusive?

Yes — coach travel, accommodation, most meals, sightseeing and admission fees are all included. Individual tour pages detail exactly what's covered.

Can you build a custom tour for our club?

Absolutely — it's one of our specialties. We'll design an itinerary around your group's dates, interests and budget. Just get in touch to start the conversation.

How far ahead should we book?

We recommend starting the conversation 6–12 months in advance, especially for popular tours and peak periods. We'll always try to accommodate later bookings subject to availability.
