Day 1 – Melbourne to Perth, Pinnacles Desert & Jurien Bay
Fly to Perth where your Western Australian adventure begins. Travel north through the stunning Nambung National Park to explore the remarkable Pinnacles Desert, one of Australia’s most unique natural landscapes. Continue to the beautiful coastal town of Jurien Bay for your overnight stay.
Day 2 – Wildflower Country & Kalbarri
Journey north through Western Australia’s spectacular wildflower country, travelling via picturesque farming districts and national parks before arriving in the beautiful seaside town of Kalbarri. Settle into your accommodation for a relaxing two-night stay.
Day 3 – Kalbarri National Park
Spend today discovering the breathtaking landscapes of Kalbarri National Park. Visit spectacular gorge lookouts, dramatic coastal cliffs and beautiful beaches while learning about this remarkable region, famous for its colourful wildflower displays during spring. We also visit Rainbow Jungle Parrot Sanctuary, home to one of Australia’s largest walk-through aviaries.
Day 4 – Shark Bay World Heritage Area & Denham
Travel north to the World Heritage-listed Shark Bay region, renowned for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and remarkable natural history. Along the way we visit the fascinating Hamelin Stromatolites, among the oldest living life forms on Earth, before arriving in Denham for a two-night stay overlooking beautiful Shark Bay.
Day 5 – Monkey Mia & Shark Bay
Today we explore the highlights of the Shark Bay region. Visit the world-famous Monkey Mia dolphins, stroll along stunning Shell Beach, enjoy panoramic views from Eagle Bluff Lookout, discover the Shark Bay Visitor Centre and experience the fascinating marine life at Ocean Park Aquarium.
Day 6 – Northampton & Geraldton
Travel south through the historic town of Northampton before arriving in the vibrant coastal city of Geraldton. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of this attractive seaside city before settling into your accommodation for the next two nights.
Day 7 – Mullewa Wildflower Country
Discover one of Western Australia’s most spectacular wildflower regions as we travel to Mullewa, famous for its colourful carpets of everlastings and the unique wreath flower. Enjoy a day surrounded by beautiful rural landscapes and vibrant spring wildflowers.
Day 8 – Greenough, New Norcia & Perth
Journey south towards Perth, visiting the fascinating historic village of Greenough with its famous leaning trees before continuing to New Norcia, Australia’s only monastic town. Later this afternoon arrive in Perth for a relaxing three-night stay.
Day 9 – Perth & Fremantle
Enjoy a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Perth and historic Fremantle, discovering the city’s major attractions, beautiful Swan River, Kings Park, Fremantle’s heritage precincts and many of Western Australia’s best-known landmarks.
Day 10 – Free Day in Perth
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure. Explore Perth’s shopping precincts, Elizabeth Quay, riverside walks, museums or cafés, or simply relax and enjoy the facilities at your hotel.
Day 11 – Perth to Melbourne
After breakfast we transfer to Perth Airport for our flight home, concluding an unforgettable journey through Western Australia’s spectacular Coral Coast.
