Day 1 – Western Victoria, Murray River & Mannum

Travel through Western Victoria and into South Australia before arriving in the picturesque Murray River town of Mannum. Settle into your riverside accommodation and enjoy your first evening overlooking Australia’s longest river.

Day 2 – Mannum, Adelaide Hills & Hahndorf

Enjoy a guided tour of historic Mannum, birthplace of the Murray River paddlesteamer and one of South Australia’s oldest river towns. Later travel into the beautiful Adelaide Hills to explore Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement, with time to browse its charming shops, galleries and cafés. We also visit the popular Melba’s Chocolate Factory before returning to Mannum.

Day 3 – Goolwa, Victor Harbor & Fleurieu Peninsula

Today we explore the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Visit the historic river port of Goolwa, enjoy views of the Murray River Mouth from Hindmarsh Island, and spend time in Victor Harbor, one of South Australia’s most popular seaside destinations. Highlights include Encounter Bay, Granite Island and the spectacular Bluff Lookout.

Day 4 – Coorong National Park, Robe & Mount Gambier

Farewell Mannum and travel through the remarkable Coorong National Park, one of Australia’s most important wetland environments and home to abundant birdlife and stunning coastal scenery. We continue through the charming seaside towns of Robe and Beachport before arriving in Mount Gambier, where we visit the famous Blue Lake and enjoy our overnight stay.

Day 5 – Port Fairy, Warrnambool & Home

Travel back into Victoria via the historic fishing village of Port Fairy and the spectacular Shipwreck Coast before continuing through Warrnambool, Colac and Geelong on our journey home.
